Hayley Orrantia is an American actor, singer, and music producer. Most people know her by the title of Erica Goldberg, from the show 'The Goldbergs' on television. Although she's a singer but her main passion is music. She says that music has always been her first obsession. Her first training began in the field of music professionally when she was 12 years old. After some experimentation with music, she decided to record her first album of music covers when she was 14. It hasn't turned back since. Orrantia was born in the USA however she has Hispanic roots. Although she spoke only English growing up and had never been to Mexico, Orrantia is extremely proud of her Hispanic background. By learning Spanish and composing songs, she strives to maintain the spirit of her culture. "Hasta Verte," a track she composed in Spanish is one such attempt. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia auditioned, and was chosen from YouTube videos, received an average of four "yeses," from judges at Seattle in the live audition stage. While she auditioned initially as a solo artist, at "Hollywood Week" She, along with three female performers were placed into a group for the rest of the auditions. Live shows were staged in the 5th week.
