Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is the owner and operator of Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, where she trains athletes. Annie was the first female ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. She was second in both the 2010, and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter, athlete as well as a media star. She was the winner of CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice as the first women. She is also known for having won Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie, along with the rest of her family, was birthed in Reykjavik Iceland. She enjoyed playing sports and started working out at the age of five. In 2009, Annie Thorisdottir competed in the CrossFit competition in California. The following year she was a participant with Jami Tikkanen in CrossFit Games and won them due to her impressive performances. She was the first woman to ever take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. Annie is the only woman to ever win consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to an exceptional performance. She also received a medal of silver in 2014 and the bronze medal at CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie is currently a trainer and instructor in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she started in the year 2000. With rising fame as an athlete, Annie has been a face for a number of brands in sports, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Nuun Hydration-Periodization Sidekick, Yerbae, among other. A few thousand people subscribe to her own Youtube Channel, where training videos along with travel vlogs, family and training videos are uploaded.
