David Muir, an American journalist from the United States who anchors ABC News magazine 20, is known best as the anchorman of World News Tonight With David Muir. The program, which is characterized by its dramatic clip of celebrities and animated gestures has grown to become the most watched newscast in America. Made In America, his Emmy nominated program, is another of his many contributions. He was the primary substitute anchor of the show's predecessor Diane Sawyer before taking over ABC World News Tonight. He's reported on a variety of show specials during the primetime hours of ABC News some recent ones including Breaking Point: Heroin in America and Flashpoint: Refugees in America. He's covered news from around the globe, including in Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. He is the recipient of many Emmy Awards, Edward R.
